— Mixing both sobering reflections about his hardships and irreverent flexes into his densely lyrical missives, Luhh Dyl understands that life is full of contradictions. The 22-year-old rapper releases “Nobody Dere” as he prepares to explore those complexities as best he can with his upcoming album, A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal.

Expanding the young artist’s sound, the upcoming album lays Dyl’s rapidfire pearls of wisdom above unexpected samples, deep musicality, and thumping low-end, creating a sonic environment inspired by his hometown of Detroit, but not confined to its conventions. Dyl consciously divided A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal (ATH2) into two parts, one side to vent his feelings, another filled with songs meant to push him forward and process his pain.

Home to recent singles like “Till Den,”  “Rollin With Me,” and “Still Having Problems,” a collaboration with NoCap, A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal arrives on May 1st via 300 Ent, and is available to pre-save on all platforms. For the first time in Dyl’s career, he will release the upcoming album on vinyl. Dyl’s ATH2 vinyl is available to pre-order now.

Along with the announcement of the album, Dyl shares Nobody Dere,” his new single and music video. A sobering reflection on the pressure of climbing the ladder to success while navigating a growing knowledge of self, “Nobody Dere” is a vulnerable rap ballad flecked with acoustic guitars. Dyl matches the mood, rapping about the loneliness of life on the road.

“Fifty feet in the air just tryna catch a break

Fifty thousand feet up in the air just tryna catch some air

I been working hard cause if I leave I gave it all it takes

Looked around and see who got my back and wasn’t nobody there.”

In the video, Dyl takes a luxury jet and imagines himself floating through the clouds, above the fray and beyond the reach of his everyday problems.

A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal is the follow-up to Hear My Cry, his October 2025 album, anointed by Pitchfork as one of the Best Rap Albums of 2025. A resilient and redemptive album, Hear My Cry is home to Luhh Dyl’s acclaimed singles, like the Kid Cudi flip “Nite N Day” ft. Flint’s Babyfxce E and Detroit’s 1Up Tee the Pinegrove-sampling “Holdin Back,” “Wish You Could,” a contemplative anthem that earned acclaim from Clash Magazine, “Wouldn’t Believe,” his collaboration with Lil Tony Official which became Dyl’s first track to cross 1 million views, and was named one of the Best Rap Songs of May 2025 by The FADER. Hear My Cry was Dyl’s second full-length of 2025, following January’s Intrude, which has generated over 35 million streams and featured guest spots from Tee Grizzley, Veeze, and Loe Shimmy.

Dyl kept his momentum going into 2026: In January, Complex named the young rising star one of the Rappers To Watch in 2026. The young rapper is preparing to join his “Nite N Day” collaborator Babyfxce E as direct support on “Da Realest Tour,” a 21-date spring national tour. The tour kicks off with a hometown show in Detroit on May 13th, passing through major markets like Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta before ending in NYC on June 15th.

Only just tapping into his immense potential, Luhh Dyl is ready to make a name for himself. With his new album on the way, he positions himself as an artistic force that can’t be ignored.
