— East Atlanta rapper Mvsua Tha Blacsheep delivers the highly-anticipated music video for “Decatur”.

For those looking for real raps and quality music, look no further than East Atlanta rapper, Mvsua Tha Blacsheep. With two official projects under his belt (not to mention an appearance on our More Bars Please series last year), Mvsua has more than shown that his skills rank among the best. Now, following his March 2021 joint project with Sheldon Body, Follow Me, Vol 1., Mvsua has now released his first music video from the project for the opening track, “Decatur”.

“Decatur”, produced by CEDES, carries a chilling, yet hypnotic, vibe that draws listeners in while providing an eerie and serious tone. Such rich and stimulating production offered the perfect runway for Mvsua to deploy his elite lyrical abilities and to give the track infinitely more depth — which he did flawlessly.

Mvsua proceeded to talk about his stomping grounds in “Decatur where it’s greater” with both levity and brutal honesty. While it holds a special place in his heart, Mvsua doesn’t hesitate to highlight some of the dark, and sometimes necessary, evils that come with living in a place like Decatur, GA. Nonetheless, Mvsua continues to push through regardless of what obstacle stands before him.

The music video, directed by J.CrumpOriginal, was nothing less than a fine work of art. Not only was the video beautifully shot in regards to its framing, angles, and depth of field; the exceptional editing and color grading fit perfectly with the song’s mood making for an amazing viewing and listening experience.
