— Following her special performance at LA’s Natural History Museum last week, Arima Ederra releases her live album film shot at Los Angeles’ Union Station.
Directed by Neema Sadeghi, the film is a radiant performance of Arima’s critically acclaimed sophomore album A Rush To Nowhere with a live band that includes Teo Halm, Rahm Silverglade, V.C.R., among others. She first teased the film with the early release of the “You’re My” and “Air and Everywhere” medley that preceded A Rush To Nowhere’s release.
The film’s release offers an initial look at Arima’s live renditions of these new songs ahead of her first headline show in London, taking place May 21st at Folklore Hoxton. Remaining tickets are available now.
A Rush To Nowhere was widely praised upon its release from the likes of Pitchfork, Consequence, The FADER and Pigeons & Planes, who named her one of their Artists To Watch in 2026. The album collapses memories, journal entries and hopeful declarations together into a body of work that’s wholeheartedly personal and earnest. Arima worked closely on the album with a talented cadre of producers and musicians including executive producer Teo Halm (SZA, Rosalía, Omar Apollo), and additional production from the likes of Caleb Laven (Vince Staples, Childish Gambino), Solomonphonic (Lola Young, Dominic Fike, Remi Wolf) and Rahm Silverglade (serpentwithfeet, Snoh Alaegra, Deb Never).
Music has a way of stopping time especially when I need it most
creating sanctuary in a world that never slows
In that suspended moment is where I find myself most clearly
Writing this work revealed the many versions of me across time
The multitudes I hold
