— Multi-Platinum rapper Ski Mask the Slump God made his long anticipated return with “Catch Me Outside 2” — the Timbaland infused follow-up to his 2017 viral breakthrough. Just a few weeks later, he returns with The Lost Files — a collection of his Soundcloud era classics that have not been released officially on streaming until now.
Across 32 tracks, features include other artists and sounds that influenced an entire generation like Denzel Curry, Craig Xen, and Pollari — plus four XXXTENTACION collaborations including their focus track “IWATCHEDHIMDROWN”.
Ski Mask is not only a streaming juggernaut, but a powerhouse performer who helped define South Florida rap. Alongside this project, he celebrated this monumental release with a sold out concert in Broward County, Florida — performing heavily requested favorites from his catalogue.
Just last month, Ski Mask performed an explosive set at Summer Smash Festival, and reunited with Cole Bennett for the music video to “Catch Me Outside 2,” marking their first collaboration in over half a decade. The music video is packed with hyper-stylized animation and Bennett’s signature crisp editing style, and the single has already single amassed over 15 million streams, reached No. 1 on TikTok New Music Chart, and is charting No. 26 at Spotify’s Viral 50 USA Chart.
Ski Mask the Slump God is a defining voice from the South Florida rap scene in the mid-2010s known for his witty flow and lyricism. A collaborator of Lil Yachty, Trippie Redd, Lil Uzi Vert, and more, he rose to prominence with big tracks like the 2x RIAA-Platinum “Nuketown” featuring Juice WRLD and “Faucet Failure”. His 2018 mixtape Stokeley debuted in the Billboard Top 10 and earned widespread critical acclaim — and he went on to gain a cult fanbase and a reputation for high-energy live shows.
