— Multi-talented musician and lyricist, Tink, has shared a brand new single “Can We Talk?” featuring R&B heavyweight Bryson Tiller.
The sultry record, produced by Hitmaka, is about establishing a line of communication in the relationship. Tink begins the song asking questions to understand where they stand while she is expressing the need for connection. In comes Tiller on the chorus reinforcing that he is a safe space and reciprocating mutual desire. “Talk To Me” is out now and accompanied by a music video.
Tink has been on a consistent run heading into this single release having recently performed both weekends at Coachella Festival and shared two projects last year — the first being Winter’s Diary 5, the fifth installment of her breakthrough album series that propelled her to stardom with early successful hits like “Treat Me Like Somebody”. Features included Skilla Baby, NoCap, Jeremih, and Summer Walker on the album’s standout “Songs About U”. She followed up with a surprise EP Lost Pages which was a collection of her biggest records to date that were never released officially on streaming. Features included Jeremih on “Don’t Tell Nobody” and G Herbo on “Mine” which exploded on — TikTok a couple years prior to the EP release.
Tink is also embarking on Keyshia Cole’s The Way It Is 20th Anniversary Tour kicking off July 1 in Baltimore, Maryland and concluding August 8 in Los Angeles, CA. Tink will perform in select major cities starting with Philadelphia, stopping in Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, and more. Other supporting acts include Lil Kim, Wale, Jeremih and Fridayy — a wide-spanning lineup across hip-hop, R&B. Tink’s dates listed below and tickets available at the official tour website. This marks Tink’s second consecutive arena tour run following last year’s Magic Hour Tour with Jhené Aiko and her own headline Winter’s Diary Music Festival at her hometown Chicago’s United Center Arena.
Tink is a songstress, rapper, and powerhouse who has racked up over 1 billion streams thanks to a loyal fanbase drawn to her raw honesty, infectious melodies, and pen game that cuts deep. With multiple RIAA-Gold records under her belt — “Cap,” “Bottom Bitch,” “Cut It Out” — she’s proven time and time again that her voice and her vision are unmatched.
