— Rapper, singer, and instrumentalist Dear Silas brought his Cadillac Leather in July Tour to Atlanta last week and put on a dynamic performance for a sold out crowd.
Known for his authenticity, creative versatility, and most importantly his ability to convey powerful messages in top tier musical form, Dear Silas is an undeniable gem. Captivating listeners with soulful production, elegant flows, and awe-inspiring lyrics, this Mississippi-bred musician is something to behold. Lucky for us here in Atlanta, Dear Silas pulled up to the famous Aisle 5 concert venue in Little 5 Points and gave us a night to remember.

Walking out to a crowd full of eager fans, Dear Silas was every bit of the masterful performer you’d expect him to be. As composed as ever, he went through an assortment of records with vibes ranging from soulful to sultry to inspirational and delivered a uniquely fulfilling experience.
Performing favorites from his swanky 2024 EP Cadillac Leather in July such as “Mood,” “Nasty Work,” “Out The Way,” and “Mikolton (Dat’s My Dawg),” this live listening experience was euphoric for anyone who’s been enjoying the project over the past year. Unapologetically exhibiting immense pride in his southern roots, he also lit up the crowd with his groovy recently released record “Still Southern Playalistic” — a record Atlanta can’t help but to get behind. Last, but certainly not least, Dear Silas touched every soul in the room with a heartfelt performance of his inspirational 2021 record, “I Ain’t Stressin’ Today.”
Beyond his vocal performance, Dear Silas impressed even further with a few incredible trumpet solos showcasing his impeccable talent and unwavering commitment to his craft and artistic roots.
Also, as an aside, seeing the magnetic effect that Dear Silas has with his fanbase was something special to witness. As an independent artist, this is no easy feat, which highlights the genuine emotion felt in his music and even more so from his live performance. In fact, Dear Silas was even gifted with an incredible piece of artwork by one of his fans in the front row, pictured below.
