— A lifelong student of the R&B game, Jae Stephens can stun with a ballad, a banger, or a combination of the two. Coming through with a lively new slow jam, Jae shares “That’s My Baby,”out now via Raedio/Def Jam.

“That’s My Baby” is a sultry R&B ballad, buoyed by bouncy percussion and fluttering, Darkchild-esque harps. Jae Stephens executes a variety of vocal approaches, switching on a dime from sighing falsettos to rhythmic pattern and back again. Produced by Hoskins & The Elements, the song finds Jae in the early stages of infatuation, when every romantic moment feels like a Hollywood movie and all you want to do is tell everyone how you feel as she coos lyrics like,

“I like when you tell me you’re proud of me

I work a lot and it take a lot out of me

When you get off, baby, come take it out on me

You the boss, baby, give me my salary

“That’s My Baby” follows in the wake of the SMH single and music video, praised by Billboard, Clash, Rated R&B, and more.
